I am Lubov Lisitsa, an editorial wedding photographer working in Warsaw, across Poland and internationally. My approach combines natural moments with thoughtful composition and gentle direction. I will guide you when guidance helps and give you space when a moment is best left alone.

I work with the rhythm of the day. During the ceremony and other emotional moments, I observe without interrupting. For portraits, I give you clear, simple direction so you can relax, move naturally and still have photographs with an editorial feel.

You do not need to know how to pose. That is part of my job.

Every celebration is different, so I build the coverage around your plans. A complete wedding story may include:

• the ceremony and the reactions around it;

Every ceremony has its own rhythm. During a church wedding, I photograph discreetly, paying attention to the exchange of vows, the reactions of your families and the moments just after the ceremony. I also plan for the available light and check any photography rules with the venue in advance.

Civil and symbolic ceremonies can feel very different, but the aim is the same: to document what happened and how it felt, without interrupting the experience. When we plan your photography timeline, we will allow enough time for the ceremony, congratulations and travel to the reception.

A short portrait session, planned around your wedding

You do not need to disappear for hours to have elegant portraits. In many cases, approximately 15–20 minutes together is enough for a focused session, provided we choose a place close to your ceremony or reception.

Warsaw offers different possibilities: the historic streets around the Old Town and Royal Route, a hotel interior, a garden or a quiet corner of your own venue. I help choose what works with your schedule and the available light. Often, the best portrait location is already where your wedding is taking place.

The aim is to create photographs you love while leaving you time to experience the celebration.

My approach to editorial wedding photography

“Editorial” describes the care given to composition, light and detail. It does not mean asking you to perform for the camera throughout your wedding.

I may suggest a better position near a window, help you move naturally during portraits or take a few minutes to photograph the room before guests enter. At other times, I step back and let the story happen. This balance gives you polished portraits and photographs filled with real expression.

I photograph in colour and black and white, choosing what best serves each moment. My priority is a gallery that feels elegant now and remains meaningful years from now.

How we plan your photography

We begin with a short conversation about your date, venues and what matters most to you. Then I recommend the amount of coverage that fits your plans and prepare a proposal.

Before the wedding, we discuss the schedule, family photographs, portrait time and any privacy preferences. I coordinate with your planner or other suppliers when needed, so photography fits into the day rather than interrupting it.
